Independence Day Celebration at National Hill View Public School, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bengaluru.
India’s 72nd Independence day was celebrated at National Hill View Public School with great zeal and enthusiasm. Mr. Venkatappa, Additional Trustee Secretary, National Education Foundation, who was the chief guest, hoisted the flag and took the salute at the colourful parade by the entire school. The students marched in contingents in their respective house colour uniform to the beats of drum and the band in unison. The chief guest spoke about significance of the day and appealed to students to hold on to our value system and inculcate self- discipline. Mr. Lepaksha, Trustee Secretary and Ms. Aisshwarya DKS, Trustee Secretary, Schools, graced the occasion. The Principal, Mrs. Anita Vinodkumar administered the oath of office to the School Captain, Neha Vasist, Vice- Captain, Jananii Govindraj, Sports Captain, Jeevan Raju G, Student Council Secretaries, Cultural Secretary, the House Captains and Vice-Captains. The Principal stressed on the importance of discipline and urged students to do their part to put India on map of the world. Students paid tribute to the nation through a vibrant cultural programme. Energetic dance numbers and melodious patriotic renditions by students paid fitting tribute to our soldiers and freedom fighters. A dance drama by the tiny-tots of primary section touched everyone’s hearts. The tableau by middle school showcased the most memorable moments of our freedom struggle namely – the Swadeshi Movement, Dandi March and so on. The programme concluded with a dance performance by the high school students, adding to patriotic fervour and the school premises echoed the school song rendered before dispersal.
