UPDATE
Environment Association of Bangalore had conducted a poster competition.
Pallavi M P, Reeti T Chinoy, Bhargavi N A and Vishaka Ramamurthy of Class VIII won the I Prize in the Poster Competition of EAB seminar conducted on June 12th, 2010.
They also won cash prize of Rs.250 each.
Anagha D Ananth of Class VI B participated in the Sit and Draw contest conducted by the Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum on July 25th 2010 and secured the I prize. Sahana Sreeprakash Chetty of class 10 secured a special prize.
In the NAPSONIC fest conducted by NPS Rajajinagar, the following students secured prizes in various competitions.
    a) Parantap Chakrabarti of Class X , Shruti Muralidharan of Class IX and Shruti G of Class XI
         secured the III place in Comic Book Designing.
    b) Samanth M S of Class IX, S Roshan of Class XI, Mayank Agarwal of Class XI and Pawan Kumar
         of Class XII secured the I prize in GAME COMMIXS
    c) Abhinav Pant of Class XII and Vishwanath S of Class XII secured III prize in the Murphy Darwin
         Face-Off Competition.
    d) Akshay Aradhya of Class X, Chestha Chitkara and Nisha R Krishnan of ClassX secured II Prize in
         the Colorists Face Painting
Nandini Bharadwaj of Class X secured II prize in the English Creative Writing contest at SEEK 2010 conducted by Kumaran’s High School.
Naman V Shetty of Class VIII secured I prize in the T- Shirt designing contest.
Karishma Shiraj Mulani of Class X secured I prize in Hindi creative writing competition.
Vivek Raju was the winner of 20-20 cricket tournament of Star Cricketers XI held at J P School of Cricket held between 6th May - 12th May.
He was a part of the winning team.
A M Vijay, Sushant M P, B Karthik, R Vivek Raju, C N Nishank, Tejas R of Class XI secured the II prize in the SPARK competition at SYNCHRONIZE conducted by Bishop Cotton Boys School.
In the ASTRA 2010 fest conducted by the Royale Concorde International School , the following students secured prizes in various competitions.

     prize in the “Designer Tiles” (category B) Competition .

     Competition.

     (Category C) competition
g) Piyush Kuthethoor secured the II prize in the “Survival of the Fittest” (category C)
     Competition.
h) Malavika Ramani secured the II prize in the “One Moment Please”(category A)
     Competition .
i) Gowri M G secured the II prize in the “Spell Bound”(category B) Competition.
j) Pooja Ravikumar secured the II prize and Sathvik A secured the III prize in the “Spell Bound”
     (category A) Competition.
In the Different Strokes fest conducted by Carmel High School, Basaweshwaranagar on 26th and 27th August 2010 the following student’s secured prizes in various competitions.

b) Nisha R Krishnan secured the II prize and Kshiteesh Srihari secured the III prize in the “Air
     Crash” Event.
c) Arjun Shillotri secured the II prize in the ”Emotique” event
d) Atharva Vijay Linkar and Vishal Neeraje secured I prize in the “Mathemagic Quiz”
e) Sathya Krishna K R secured I prize in the “Spelling Bee” event.
f) Rakshita R secured II prize in the “Pencil Sketching ” event.
In the “ANKUR 2010” inter school competition Karishma Mulani secured I place in the “Hindi Creative Writing” contest.
In the SIP Abacus (7th level) competitions, Satvik Bhat Kakunje of class IV C secured the I prize.
In the water rocket launch competition organized by the ISRO, Bangalore ,Vishwas Shashidhar of class X and K. Hari Kumar of Class IX secured the II prize.
In the Vagdevi Kala Utsav held by the Vagdevi Vilas School,
a) The team comprising Divya G,Yasha Banthia,Anjana M L and Chestha Chitkara of class X
     secured the II prize in the Rangoli competetion based on the theme Great Empires of India.
b) The team comprising Sri Ranjini S, Sharanya Prakash,Tanisha Gowda and Nandini Bharadwaj
     of ClassX secured the second place in the Historic Costume Designing competition.
Sumukh M S and Vanik Khurana of Class VII were awarded black belt by the Ashoka Martial Arts Academy.
In the “AAROHAN 2010” held by Amrita Engineering College,
a) Sahana D Sagar and Kirti Shastry of Class XI won the II prize in “ANVESH” for a project
     exhibition on conservation of energy, in the senior category . They won a cash prize of
     Rs.20,000.
b) Anushree Ghosh and Chestaa Chitkara of Class X won the consolation prize in “ANVESH” for a
     project on Plastic Eating Bacteria ,in the junior category. They won a cash prize of Rs.5000.
c) B. Karthik ,Chandan Yeshwanth and Suryanarayana Raju of Class XI won the III prize in
     “UTHKARSH” a quiz competition in the senior category.
d) Karthik N A,Parantap Chakrabarti and Yashas Hari of Class X won the II prize in “UTHKARSH”
     a quiz competition in the junior category.
In the “Languages Week” 2010-2011 held by Mallya Aditi International School, Bangalore
a) The team comprising Vishakha Ramamurthy and Vishal R Prabhakar of Class VIII and Abhishek
     Singhvi and Shruti Muralidharan of Class IX Won the first prize in the “Hindi Quiz” Team event
     held on Dec 1st .
b) Saumya Suri and Prathyush Pradhan of Class VIII won the Third prize in the “Hindi Poster
     Making Competition” Team event held on Dec 1st .
The team comprising Suhas B N and G Balasubramaniam of Class IX and Rohan S K of class VIII reached the finals of the “QUIZOMANIA”2010-2011 held by The Times of India as a part of the 25th anniversary of Times NIE and were placed Sixth.
In the 11th District Selection 2010 – 2011 held by the Bengaluru District Roller Skating Asssociation, Sanjana M of Class VII was placed third in the Rink III 300mts category.
In the Mock UN conducted by Vidya Niketan School, Akshita Ramani of Class XII represented India and was awarded the Best Pre-Summit Reporter. Sushanth Sunil Belvet of Class X was awarded the Best Speaker in the General Assembly representing India.. Sushanth Sunil Belvet of Class X, Prithvi D Hegde and Prajwal N of Class XI, S. Vishwanath and Mythreyi Shekar Rishpana of Class XII represented India and was awarded the Best Country Profile.
Aditi R Patil of Class II, Ishika Agarwal of Class III, Anupama KR OF Class VI, and Shushrutha VS of Class IX have topped the school in the examination conducted by Mahatma Gandhi Rashtra Basha Hindi Prachar Sanstha and received medals and certificates.
Out of 4300 participants,Sathvik Bhat Kakunje of Class IV was declared 2nd runner-up at National Level SIP-Abacus held at Hyderabad.
Jhanati R IF Class IV secured the following prizes in swimming:
a) 1st place in the 100mts freestyle,3rd place in the 100mts freestyle and in the 50 mts back
     stroke conducted by the Rotary Club Bangalore, Indiranagar.
b) 3rd place in the 4x50 medley relay and in the 4x25mts free style relay in the XI State Short
     Course Swimming Championship held at Jain Heritage School, Hebbal
c) 1st place in the 4x50 medley relay , 100mts Individual medley, 100mts freestyle, 50mts back
     stroke, 4x50mts freestyle in the Swim Life Swim Meet .
Shreya Jaiswal of Class VII C was chosen as the Best Artist at the Indian Stage Theatre Festival, Inter-School contest.
In the XI State Short Course Swimming Championship held at Jain Heritage School , Hebbal, Soumya Krishnamurthy of Class VIII was awarded the 3rd place in 4x50mts freestyle relay, 100mts butterfly stroke, 50mts butterfly and 4x50mts medley relay conducted by the Karnataka Swimming Association .
Akshay of Class IX B won the 1st prize in the Painting Competition organized by Bhoomika Academy , Bangalore.
In the Titan Genius Kidz National Arithmetic Championship,2010 Atharva Vijaykumar of Class V B was declared winner and Ruchitha Kuthethoor of Class V C was the runner-up in the Sub-Junior category. In the Junior category, Aarohi Palkar and Deva Darshini of Class VII were declared winner and runner-up respectively. Amrutha Varshini of Class X and Saumyasuri of Class VIII were the winner and runner-up respectively in the Senior category. Aarohi Palkar of Class VII was declared the District Level Runner-up in the Junior Category for Bangalore Urban District and the State Level Runner-up.
Sumukh MS of Class VII secured the third place in Individual Kumite (below 40kg) Black event in the 9th State level Karate Championship held at Bangalore University.
Diya N Rao of Class III was the topper in the 16th National Abacus Competition ,Brainobrain Fest 2010.
Anirudh C of Class VI was awarded recognition for playing the violin at the Hampi Utsav Held in January 2011.
Anish BS and Samaksh Sood of Class VIII were declared the 1st runner-up in the Gap Quiz . Piyush Kuthethoor of Class X was the 1st runner-up in the Poetry Writing contest “Groom A Poet” in the Gap Quest 2011. Vishnu Nambiar of Class III and Shrey Bhate of Class IV and Meghna Pal and Sinchana Gupta of Class VI were the finalists in Level 1 and Level 2 category of Gap Quiz. Our school secured 1st runner-up place in the Gap Quest.
Dev Aryan Jain of Class III was awarded the Silver-Topper in the 21st regional Abacus competition “Brainobrain” Fest.
Achyuth of Class III won the second place in the 4x50 medley relay at Bangalore Inter-club Swimming competition conducted by the Karnataka Swimming Association.
Adit P Rao of Class IV secured 2nd place in the 5th Non-Medalist Yoga Championship conducted by the Karnataka State Amateur Yoga Sports Association.
Arjun s of Class III won a silver medal in Taekwondo organized by VIFA Taekwondo Center.
Nandini Bharadwaj of Class X secured the 1st position in the State Level Kannada Essay competition on Oil and Gas Conservation and its Relevance in Daily Life.
Aaron Aaryan Fernandes of Class III successfully attained the rank of Green Belt in the Budokukai Karate Do India and 3rd prize in the Innovators Chess Academy Summer Tournament.
